Man taken to hospital following Ramsgate crash

A motorist was taken to hospital following a crash in Ramsgate yesterday evening (November 21).

Kent Police was called to Newington Road, near the fire station,  at 5pm following a report of a collision between two vehicles.

One man was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford for treatment, his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “One ambulance crew attended the scene and one patient was assessed and treated before being taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.”

  1. Why was this non-seriously injured man taken the 37 miles to WHHospital for treatment???
    It is a joke when we have a perfectly good hospital on our doorstep at the QEQM.
    What is going on?

    • Perhaps because QEQM is anything but a perfectly good hospital? dead babies through incompetence & arrogance, refusing to implement the recommendations to stop it happening again. Sending people away with life threatening conditions after doing the bare minimum etc.

  2. I am told that William Harvey Hospital has more suitable facilities for this kind of event. I have had good treatment at QEQM.
