CCTV images released as part of investigation of knifepoint robbery attempt in Broadstairs

CCTV images released by British Transport Police

CCTV images have been released by British Transport Police as part of an investigation into an attempted knifepoint robbery outside Broadstairs railway station.

At just before midnight on Friday, September 10, the two victims were approached by two men just outside the station.

The two men showed the knife handles in their waistbands and then one of the victims was patted down by the men, however none of his possessions were taken. The other victim ran away and one of the men swung a knife at him but missed.

Officers believe the men in the images may have information which could help their investigation.
