  1. I thought we had CCTV in the High Street and other principal thoroughfares. Mind you, most CCTV is of a very low quality. Also what the High Street that was threatened?

    • And the CCTV is only really any good if it is constantly monitored for potential, developing or occurring incidents – which I do not believe it is.

I believe it is only looked at after an event to see if the camera happened to be pointing in the right direction when something happened.

More by luck than good judgement if anything is recorded.

  2. All the money that was wasted on CCTV in each of Thanet’s towns and nobody looking at it. They are not even checked to see if in the right direction unless deemed a serious incident or you can tell them the time it happened. The crimes that are happening right now under these cameras just continue. The criminals know nobody is watching them.

  3. Another reason why some high streets are failing. Could say more but its to late as those who have responsibility have failed the community.
