Police close off road in Cliftonville due to ‘threatening behaviour’ incident

A road in Cliftonville has been closed off today (November 6) as police deal with an incident of ‘threatening behaviour’.

Kent Police was called at 4.15pm to a report of threatening behaviour at a home in Godwin Road.

A police spokesperson said: “Officers are currently in attendance and one man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

“The people involved are believed to be known to one another and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”

Residents report around five police cars at the scene and say they advised to stay indoors
