There is still time to visit the Battles for Victory annual event, being held this year at Quex Park in Birchington.

The living history event is open tomorrow (July 14) from 10am- 5pm and includes vehicles, re-enactments, arena events, stalls entertainment and bar. This year the event marks the 75th anniversary of the World War Two D Day operations.

There is also a free shuttle bus from Pierremont Park in Broadstairs stopping at Cecil Square, Margate railway station and Westgate library at 9.30am, 10.30am and 11.30am returning at 3pm, 4pm, 5pm and 6pm.
