Disruption to train services between Margate and Ramsgate continues

UPDATE: Services are now operating as usual

Train services between Ramsgate and Margate are not expected to resume until 10pm tonight (May 25).

An operational incident between Ramsgate and Margate is causing disruption to journeys through these stations. Train services may be cancelled, delayed or revised.

Passengers can use tickets on the High Speed services until 9pm.

Stagecoach Buses are operating on the ‘loop’ route between Ramsgate and Cecil Square – this route calls at Dumpton Park and Broadstairs stations. Passengers to and from Margate should change at Cecil Square, and use routes 32, 34, 8 and 8a.

  1. Good luck getting a 32,34 and probably the 8 and 8A,as far as l know they don’t run on a Sunday and bank holiday Monday, you probably get a an 8x

  2. I’m on a train to Margate, calling at Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate.
    No problems.
    Please can the news item be updated to reflect the normal service now in operation.

  3. I wonder if it has anything to do with the air ambulance landing there are round there yesterday teatime
