Talented Thanet female photographers open exhibition on International Women’s Day

An exhibition by Thanet female photographers opens today (March 8) in celebration of International Women’s Day.

Women in Photography features the work of Sue Fewings, Sinead Le Blond, Carole Adams, Denise Bottali, Fern Sherratt-Wells, Kerri Baker, Kyra Scott Nixon, Mel Chennell, Leilah Leask, Laura Drury, Natasha Hill, Kerry Keys, Christine McNaught, Janet Webzell and Maureen Tong-Ralphs.

The works will be on display at the Joseph Wales.Studios, 2A Dane Hill, Margate, from now until March 13.
There will be a special preview tonight from 6.30pm – 9pm.

  1. When will we be celebrating International Men’s Day ?

    When will there be a Men in Photography exhibition featuring only the works of male photographers ?

    Now that everybody is equal and sexism is against the law – why are these practices allowed to continue, or as appears in this case, positively encouraged ?

    • Why are you so bothered? Organise a Men in Photography exhibition, if you feel the need to. It could coincide with International Men’s Day on 19th October. Enjoy 😉
