The sky above Ramsgate harbour was lit up tonight (December 8) for the first in a series of Northern Lights laser shows.
Working with Definitive Special Projects Ltd, the ‘Aurora Borealis’ display will be over Ramsgate for nine nights.
Tonight there was also a shooting stars lantern parade to mark the start of the installation (Harbour Street, up Albion Hill, along Albion Place, down Madeira Walk and into Harbour Parade)
On Sunday, December 16 there will be ‘A Winter Wassail’ at East Cliff bandstand which will include Carols by Candlelight, mulled cider and apple juice with Christmas biscuits.
The Northern Lights will display until December 16, 4pm-10pm.
