Over its 52-year history, NYJO has helped launch the careers of many of the country’s most renowned jazz musicians including Guy Barker, Amy Winehouse, Mark Nightingale and Laura Jurd.

The Great American Songbook programme explores the best jazz standards from the 1920s to the 1950s with classics from Cole Porter, Hoagy Carmichael and George Gershwin as well as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Nina Simone and Dorothy Fields.
