Seal And Wildlife Watching Trips

April- October

Take a trip to an active seal colony inside a National Nature Reserve which also has the benefits of a wide range of birds including the rare Ingret. The trips to coincide with tidal flows for the best chance of seeing these wonderful mammals in their natural habitat.

Ideal for all the family and brilliant for photographs.

Scavenger & Great Eggcase Hunt

6 April

Come down to the beach for some fun, looking out for shark egg cases and help to create a marine art masterpiece on the beach over the school Easter break.

The hunt lasts for 45 minutes with another 45 minutes of ‘art-time’. Particularly suitable for 4-11s; children must be accompanied by an adult. Suggested donation: £1 per person (adults & children).

Big Fish Little Fish x Camp Bestival Family Rave

Saturday 8th April from 2pm until 4pm.

Dreamland Margate  has been chosen as a Kent stop on the Big Fish Little Fish x Camp Bestival tour, which sees award-winning family festival Camp Bestival team up with Dreamland favourites Big Fish Little Fish for a series of family parties. This year’s theme is Pop Stars and Rock Stars, featuring jungle and drum & bass legend DJ Aphrodite.


Whether you’re into techno, hip hop, house, disco, garage, rave, drum ‘n’ bass, this is the party that starts hard and never stops. Well, not until teatime anyway! There’s a range of craft activities to keep the kids busy. Choose from the giant colouring mural, free transfer tattoos and a homemade play-doh table. The baby chill out and toddler play space provides breakaway areas with tents, tunnels and a ball pool (for babies).

The Camp Bestival photo booth will be there for fancy dress fuelled fun, so you can pose to your heart’s content! If you Tweet, Facebook or Instagram your photo booth snaps using #CB17ontour, you could win one of three Camp Bestival 2017 family tickets up for grabs!

Easter Skate & Scoot Camp 2017

Revolution Skatepark from 10 April – 14 April

For beginner, intermediate and advanced levels of skateboarding and scootering

Spend four hours a day with instructors learning some basic tips and new techniques right up to some of the more advanced tricks, with everything focused on fun!

There will be games, giveaways and even fancy dress (on Friday April 14th!)

Just bring a packed lunch with you and any of your own equipment (full equipment hire is available at additional cost.)

Bookings must be made prior to start date in order to secure a place.
