Wendy Carr, Broadstairs Town Team trustee said : “We’re delighted that BBC Radio Kent are coming to visit and broadcast from Broadstairs to find out just what amazing contributions volunteers make to our town. It’s great that so many local organisations will be working together on 7 March, Everyone in Broadstairs loves our beaches and parks to look their best for everyone to enjoy. Just a few extra pairs of hands will make a real difference.”
Gordon Davidson, editor at BBC Radio Kent, added: “The aim of #onegooddeed is that if everyone in Kent just did one little thing to help someone else a day, then the world, and Kent in particular, would be a slightly better place. Where better to start than helping with a spring clean on the beach?”
