Margate born comedian Lloyd Hollett is in preparation for his new one man show ‘Live and Electric’ which he will be bringing to The Marlowe Theatre Studio in Canterbury on April 1 and 2.
Lloyd, who now lives in Westgate-On-Sea, recently completed his 13th consecutive pantomime, starring alongside TV’s Stephen Mulhern in Dick Whittington, playing to over 90,000 people at The Marlowe Theatre.
Lloyd, who has been firm favourite at their annual pantos, has already been signed up for this year’s forthcoming extravaganza Peter Pan.
Now billed as ‘The Comedy Wordsmith’ his show will be full of hilarity, word play wizardry, stories, music and comedy routine’s that have made Lloyd a popular entertainer.
Lloyd, who was a pupil at Drapers Mills and Hartsdown schools in Margate, said: “To this day I owe a lot of gratitude to my teachers who let me pursue the passion that I had for comedy right from an early age.”
This summer Lloyd can also be seen supporting Celebrity Big Brother winner Jim Davidson on his ’40 Years in Showbiz’ UK Tour.
