A man’s body has been found by the grounds of the Royal Harbour Academy in Ramsgate  this morning (May 26).

Police and the ambulance service were called at 10.36am to a report of concern for a man’s welfare.

Officers attended Marlowe Way, which runs through the school and Marlowe Innovation Centre site, where the body of a Ramsgate man in his 30s was found nearby.

The school gates were locked with police at the entrances and two vans on-site.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “The man’s death is being treated as non-suspicious and a report will be completed for the Coroner.”

The man’s next of kin have been informed.
